Epic Seven Ancient Inheritance Guide

Ancient Inheritance is Epic Seven's cooperative guild PvE event, found under Guild > Battlefield > Ancient Inheritance. Guilds of 16 or more members explore a three-zone map, level up, defeat each zone's boss and earn rewards plus Ancient Dream Shards for the exchange. Members need Account Rank 40, and every enlisted hero is automatically maxed inside the event.

Requirements and Schedule

Your guild needs at least 16 members, and you need Account Rank 40 or higher. If you reach Rank 40 during a season you can join immediately, and a guild that drops below 16 members mid-season can keep playing. Seasons run for about two weeks.

Be careful about switching guilds. Members who change guild mid-season have their progress and exchange currency reset. Recent seasons, such as Season 11 in November 2024 and Season 15 from December 18, 2025, have been set in the Ancient Dragon's Tomb.

Every Enlisted Hero Is Maxed

Ancient Inheritance is the most beginner-friendly guild content in the game. Creator Tristen Wulf explains that every hero you enlist is instantly upgraded to level 60, 6 stars and full awakening inside the event, including maxed Specialty Change trees. Heroes return to normal when you leave.

You start with 10 enlisted heroes and gain more slots as you progress. Gear quality matters only a little inside the event, so a newer player can contribute almost as much as a veteran.

Zones, Levels and Bosses

The map has three zones. You raise two separate levels, each up to 10: Exploration Level, from moving between tiles and interacting with objects, and Battle Level, from winning fights. Battle EXP goes to the element that beats the monster, so beating an Earth monster gives Fire EXP and strengthens your Fire heroes.

Each zone's boss can be challenged twice a day. At a set HP level the boss retreats and Wardens appear; once the guild defeats all Wardens, the boss returns, and beating it opens the next zone. After you pass a boss portal, you cannot return to the previous zone.

Pick One Element

Tristen Wulf's main tip is to pick one element rather than two. When each member focuses on Fire, Ice or Earth, the guild maxes that element to level 10 quickly and can then push a second element. Light and Dark players save their attempts for later floors.

Enlist damage dealers, supports and dual attackers, plus a healer or two. Ludo.guide adds that you should study enemy defenses and boss mechanics before attacking and coordinate with your guild.

Rewards and the Exchange

Normal objects and monsters give rewards instantly, and Elite, Warden and Boss battles give participation rewards after each fight. Ancient Dragon's Keys, earned at Exploration Level milestones and sometimes from monsters, open treasure chests. Clear rewards go to every guild member who took part in the season.

Ancient Dream Shards collected during the season are spent in the exchange, which closes one week after the season ends. Claim cooperative and chest rewards through the Guild History notification icon. Members who did not take part cannot receive season rewards.

Fitting It Into Your Week

Ancient Inheritance runs alongside Guild War, which now resets three times a week at 03:00 UTC on all servers. Use your two daily boss attempts, keep exploring for keys, and follow your guild's element plan. Our dailies checklist shows where it fits.

Because heroes are maxed inside the event, it is also a good way to try heroes before investing in them. Note which ones perform well, then check the tier list and builds guide.

Season Rewards at a Glance

Rewards come in several layers, so active participation matters. Ludo.guide lists Skystones, Mystic Medals, Covenant Bookmarks, Gold, special equipment and guild-themed items among guild battlefield rewards. Clear rewards are delivered to every member who took part.

Because the exchange closes one week after the season, spend your Ancient Dream Shards before then. If you plan to switch guilds, do it between seasons to avoid losing progress and shards.
