Epic Seven 8th Anniversary: Everything in the Infinity Update

The Infinity Showcase

Smilegate premiered the 8th Anniversary Showcase, "Infinity," on the official YouTube channel at noon on August 22, 2026. Executive Producer Kwang-jin Tak and Development Director Dae-kyun Heo presented the plans. You can watch it at the bottom of this page.

The headline news was the Steam release. The store page opened the same day with a wishlist event, and Smilegate promised STOVE account transfer, a new server and controller support. The Steam launch followed on October 29, 2026.

Free Summons and Rewards

From August 27, every player could claim 20 free Covenant Summons a day for a total of 1,260, just by logging in until October 29. The bunny girl skin "New Moon Luna: Majestic Bunny Girl," winner of the 2025 popularity poll, was free for all players and is claimable until December 10, 2026.

The Shining Moments event added a limited 5-star Hero Selector, growth materials and a Moonlight 5-star Selector, and 8th Anniversary Coins from the poll could be exchanged for 5-star Hero Summon Tickets. The reported anniversary coupon was TY_E8_INFINITY; see our codes page.

New Heroes

Lisette, a Moonlight Light Soul Weaver, is a fragment of the goddess Diche. She starts battle with four Divinity stacks that revive fallen allies, and her third skill can trigger Time Reversal, returning allies to their state at the start of battle. Creators quickly ranked her among the strongest Moonlight heroes.

Uncharted Pioneer Politis, a 5-star Ice Ranger, followed on September 3. Acolyte of the End Kayron also joined. See our characters guide for their kits.

Chaos Zero Nightmare Collaboration

The collaboration with Chaos Zero Nightmare began in September 2026. Renoa joined as a free Moonlight hero during the event, while Haru and Mei Lin were available through limited summons. Mei Lin's limited banner ran until October 28.

Witchaven received collab-themed content, including a shop selling Chaos Zero Nightmare-style gear and items adapted for Epic Seven.

New Modes and Systems

Dimensional Exploration is Epic Seven's first roguelike PvE mode. It is permanent, runs on seasons, has no entry cost, and runs end after three floor bosses or a wipe. The Call of Chaos is a 3v3 World Arena mode where you destroy the enemy's rear-row Guardian, with Destiny effects mid-match and runs ending at 7 wins or 3 losses.

Offline Background Battling keeps Hunts running with the game closed, based on your existing clear records, with auto-sell and auto-extract for gear. The update also added the Riposte, Warfare and Pursuit gear sets, and the side story "Paradise Lost," set in the world's first era, began on August 27.

Offline Events and E7WC 2026

In Seoul, the Festival of Everlasting Successors welcomed about 160 players on August 29 at the Hyundai Department Store Sinchon branch. A collaboration cafe ran in the same building from August 29 to September 30.

The Epic Seven World Championship 2026 qualifiers started in-game on September 12. The Grand Final takes place on November 28, 2026 at SUPER PLEX in Lotte World Tower, Jamsil. See our RTA guide for the current season.

Background Battling and Quality of Life

Offline Battle Delegation lets you queue up to 100 stamina entries, about 400 battles, that keep running with the client closed, based on your existing clear records. Combined with gear auto-sell and auto-extract, it removes most of the farming grind.

Other changes included the Imprint Circuit using Faint Mana Crystals, Ogre's Armory becoming Ogre Hunt, a temporary removal of the Rift for an overhaul, and larger Profile Cards with friend gifting.
